The Inn is housed in a 1902 building, complete with squeaky floors, wavy glass windows and original radiators. Decorated with vintage and modern art, it is a true visual feast. Located in a quiet neighborhood it is only one short block to the center of Wolfville.
When you first enter your chosen suite, you'll greeted with either Annapolis Valley Cider or Beer from another local micro breweries... and in the mornings coffee & tea service await your morning desires.
Breakfast and Binky's donuts are served in the dining room between 9am - 10am! We are proud to support local in all we serve at Locust & Starr Inn.
“We had a wonderful time at Lisa's place. Lisa greeted us with a warm welcome and cold beer. Her place is an stunning, unique mix of art, architecture, poetry and sheer beauty. All curated by an amazing hostess, who even bakes donuts and brings them and a pot of coffee to the door at 7:30 every morning. I was partial to the lavender lemon donut, but they are all yummy. The bed was very comfortable, the little sitting room a great space to read and relax.
Lisa offered us tips for dining and winery visits, a really nice breakfast in the morning, thoughtful and lovely touches everywhere and great company from her and her dog Eugene. Sitting on the verandah in the evening with a glass of wine and watching dusk falling over Wolfville was a special treat too.
This was one of our favorite places to stay and Lisa was our favorite host ever. We left Wolfville and Lisa's place wishing we could stay longer and hoping we would be back soon...we are so grateful to Lisa for her exceptional hospitality and creative flair!”
